Soo Frustrated! :-(

i finally figured out where i want to set my wedding, but i cant seem to get in touch with the WC... i sent a wedding request to dreams cancun over a week ago, sent an email several days ago, and my fiance even called and left a message.. still havent heard back.. i just want to reserve a date and relax about it for awhile... :-(

 

any suggestions? or do i just wait it out

Hi Michelle, I am planning on getting married at Dreams Cancun in May 2009 and I emailed Claudia a while back and they told me the following:

ME:
I am writing to see how soon I would be able to reserve a wedding date for my wedding in 2009. When will the pricing be out for then?
FROM CLAUDIA the WC:
You can reserve the date with at least 1 year in advance, we will have prices for 2009 by june 2008,

I am not getting married at Dreams, but I had a similar experience with Occidental. My advice is call, call, call ... and if you still don't get anyone on the phone, call some more. I think we called everyday for a week (and several times a day) before we were able to get the WC on the phone.

 

That being said, I don't have experience with Dreams so maybe Jenn is right and they just don't schedule weddings that far in advance (although 1 year isnt that far away if you ask me)

I am getting married at Dreams Cancun in March 08. In the beginning I was having the same problems as you with getting in touch with Claudia and I was getting extremely frustrated. My TA started handling all of my questions and emails that I have for Claudia and I was able to get them answered ALOT quicker. So, I'm not sure if you were planning on going thru a TA but I would suggest it because they are able to handle alot for you and they are also able to get in contact with the WC alot quicker then what we are able to. Also, I had about a list of 33 questions for Claudia to answer. My TA got those all answered for me within a day....so like I said they get things done alot quicker. I hope this helps. Good Luck!!!

I had the same problem in the beginning with Dreams Cabo.. Tammy (host) stepped in as my TA and was able to confirm right away.. If you don't have a TA, I would suggest calling again.

I had a lot of the same problems with dreams cancun, sometimes they're really quick other times no response for weeks. She did tell me when I was there a few weeks ago that this time of year they start getting really busy again.

 

My TA helped out a lot with contacting them and got answers much quicker.

 

I know its really frustrating! I know some people had good luck calling in the afternoons, around 3, and you can ask for either claudia or daniella her assistant. I heard daniella is really good, I only worked with claudia though.

The same thing happened to me. BEFORE I even spoke with a wedding coordinator I have to put down a $2000 deposit. I started to freak out because a month and a half later no one was contacting me. I kept calling and email and finally contacted someone. So def keep trying, thats my advice anyways!

thanks guys.. i really appreciate it.. ill try giving another call.. im leaving on vaca on fri to disney till next thursday, so if i dont get a response by then, ill get my TA involved! but thanks agian for the help
