Been following this website since getting engaged 2 years ago and finally getting somewhere with our wedding planning!

I have always wanted to get married on the beach and since Cancun is one of our favorite places to go we can't wait for all of our family to be there!

So far our list is about 75 people but I think close to 50 guest will join!

We finally found Blue Venado and we think it will be great for our budget!

 

Any past/future brides have any must haves or any helpful ideas to planning would be awesome

 

 

So excited for it to all come together even it is in 2 years

@@caity59 Welcome and CONGRATS on your upcoming wedding AND  your wedding planning! We at Styling Trio, LOVE Blue Venado, it's a wonderful place and gorgeous for a wedding. We are close with one of the Managers there, his name is Tonio, so if there is anything you need, please don't hesitate to ask. Also, we have good relationships with photographers in the area as we work with many when doing hair and makeup (our specialty).

@@caity59 congrats on finding your location.  such excited times ahead.    Well I have few weddings in 2017 at BV and already has brides get married here. if you put in the search box blue venado brides, there should be a thread pop up.  

 

love the privacy and the rustic feel to the location. hmmm have you done any menu tasting yet? did I mention your wedding can go up to 4am if you choose. Take a look at the packages they offer most of them include most things.

 

everything is in the sand advice your guests its going to be a barefoot wedding, or if budget allows maybe get the flipflops to dance the night away.

We captured an amazing wedding at the Blue Venado private beach club which culminated in some turtles hatching on the beach right there - so fascinating, and what a wonderful reminder of New Beginnings all around.....as the hatchlings made their way to the ocean for their first swim - Awesome!!!

There was an Alberta bride that got married I think at Blue Venado last year. I'll see if I can find her thread. I know Joyce at Dream Weddings helped her with it. It's a great location. I really liked it when I heard about it but I was set against sand! lol I wanted to wear heels (yes, shoe slut) so sand didn't work with shoes.
