Sandals Wedding Help Needed!

I booked a wedding at Sandals Antigua for October 2016.  The pre-wedding planner is scheduled to call me for the first time in April.  We can't decide what time would be best to have the wedding.  They said it can be as early as 11am or as late as 4pm.  It will only be the two of us.  Not sure how the weather would be early versus later.  Any opinions?

Also, does anyone know do they take pictures before or after wedding? If you have an 11am wedding, when do they do the dinner?

Any info would be appreciated!

Hi Melissa and welcome to the boards!!! Congrats on your Antiqua wedding in Oct - wow...sounds very romantic!

One consideration for timing we offer our wedding couples is to consider the time the sun will set on your Wedding Day. It works out best if their timeline allows for 1 to 1.5 hours before sunset for their newlywed photo shoot - to capture the GOLD ....like you see in these magical wedding moments that matter we took at the Beloved Hotel for a 2-person wedding recently....enjoy!

@@melissa22878 I would advise to go with with 4pm , followed by the photoshoot the the dinner .

the sun is quite bright at 11am . as @@Moments That Matter mentions.

Happy Planning!

4 pm will be for sure the best option, as mentioned above all because of the sun. I guess at 4pm it won't be that hot already.

Hi Melissa,

As a Weddingmoon Specialist for Sandals, They have the best plan for you to enjoy your day whether rain or shine. Rainy Season in Antigua runs from May to November, however there is no guarantee that it will rain on any particular day. I would say have your wedding earlier in the morning as it rains mostly in the evening in the caribbean during that season. Just keep your fingers cross and trust the creator for a bright sunshiny day:) I know Sandals has a plan b in case of rain.

P.S. You made a great choice  Sandals Antigua is perfect for your wedding
