Wristbands As Wedding Invites/name Cards?

Recommended Posts

I've just got a bit carried away in another forum talking about this idea. I read a blog post http://www.boho-weddings.com/2015/04/28/idc-wedding-wristbands-for-your-festival-style-wedding/ that mentions using wristbands for wedding invites. So put the wedding party name, date and venue and guests will not only use this as their invite they can keep this as a souvenir.

Now i  thought alternatively you could use these wristbands as a name card and favour.

I found this online wristband customiser so you can add two lines of text and a picture. (http://www.aawristbands.co.uk/) It works out cheaper that standard invites, etc. I like the idea and it's a great way of saving money.

My issue was that it's associated with festivals and it doesn't go with my classic wedding in a stately home. I know wristbands are normally associated with grunge but then i say this pic on pinterest https://www.pinterest.com/pin/14073817556968580/

I've convinced myself i like this idea, ie the long post, but i want people's opinions?

Thanks in advance :)
