Alternative To Linen?

Any suggestions for lightweight fabrics? I don't want to do linen because 1. it always looks wrinkled 2. my husband is going to wear Vans sneakers and think that might look weird with loose fitting pants. I think we are going to do a vest w/ rolled up sleeves, tie and pants.

We got cotton (blend?) no wrinkle pants from Banana Republic.

I agree with @vancouverpetunia  Any kind of cotton blend would be cool, stay relatively wrinkle free and would look nicer with the vans than linen. Although having said that there are different kinds of linen, some heavier than others and mixed with other fabrics so you might be able to find something like that and looks ok with the shoes.
