@@ValentineMrs2Be welcome! Wow, I'm real glad that your FH is doing much better. I'm so sorry for what him and you had to go through. I know how it is. I, too, have a medical problem. It's chronic, and it's hard to deal with everyday and I'm on treatment, too. I think that you should definitely do a DW, because, in my opinion, you should do something adventurous rather than a local, traditional wedding. You beat the odds, You deserve it!

I'm somewhat in the same boat as you for having to postpone my own wedding, but for financial reasons (so not as extraordinary as your situation) which I had hoped would be 3/14/17 but now i might not know when I will be able to settle on a date. All I know is that it will most likely be sometime in 2017. Really glad to hear that you are able to possibly move on with your plans. Good luck!

@@jackyrae - One of my BMs said something similar to what you said.  She said our love is not traditional so it makes sense for us to have a DW, something wonderful, different, and special.  I hope your treatment goes well and that you are able to set a hard date sooner rather than later.

So glad to hear your fiancé is recovering well! It sounds like a DW is the way to go :) Something beautiful with just your closest family and friends surrounding you is ALWAYS a wonderful idea -- as a wedding photographer, I absolutely LOVE small intimate affairs because they are much more personal and they are fueled with so much emotion and love for the couple. My husband and I actually got married on the 10th anniversary of our first date, so I know what it means to have to wait LOL. But remember, good things come to those who wait -- I think your celebration is going to be amazing. Wishing you both the very best as your journey toward your Big Day  :)

@@MarieSamSanchezPhoto - Thank you.  Good things do come to those who wait.

Congrats! I've never been to PR but I have friends who have and they LOVED it. It's a shame you had to postpone your wedding but I'm happy that he is responding well to the treatments.

Good luck in your planning!
