Thanks, Kim! I have front & side pix that also show progress but I hate my tummy, always have, so not keen to post. The back photo was the most surprising though. I guess because I can't see my back? Whereas I could tell my pants were fitting better, etc.

You've done so well this fall! Do your best to stay on track and every little bit helps. Believe me, I'm not eating as I should at every meal, but I am making an effort at every meal where I have the control over what I eat. If I have a bad lunch because I was at a work event, I still have a good dinner. Except, of course, last Friday when I was hungover from my work Xmas party lol. That day involved pizza and a full chocolate bar.

I know how you feel with not liking those views :) I was thinking too - for both of us - the little gains can be the weights too. Yes I know it's probably the food haha but this was the first time I did weights in over a month and I noticed a large blip. I couldn't walk for 4 days haha

Today I re commit myself. I was up to head to the class and I couldn't find my keys. I'm so frustrated. Well the search continues as I kinda need them lol but I will commit to doing a work out video at home.

We got this! Have a good week

And ps you are so right about having control over the meals we can. I usually have a blip and then figure I should blow the whole day. I'm awful for that but it's clear how easy I can gain weight.

Hope you found your keys! How annoying... Yes, the gains could definitely be muscle. In fact, in this program that I'm in, they tell you not to weigh yourself, because there is a lot of weight training. It's all about measurements and the photos. Let's go with muscle  ;)

@@vancouverpetunia wow, your photos are impressive! Doesn't it feel good to see the fruits of your labour. It's completely encouraging to see that all the hard work, determination and will power does produce results. Thank you for sharing, you've actually motivated me to produce results of my own! By the way, what was the program?

As for me, I've been doing do well with no snacks at night. I've decided to brush my teeth after dinner and it totally helps lol. I've been making my workouts though with the Christmas concerts, dinners and get togethers, they're completely throwing off my schedule. I missed bootcamp today for my boss' going away party. I couldn't miss that so I opted for a brisk walk with my dog. Better than nothing I suppose. I will be doing the rest of my workout regime (pilates x2 and bootcamp) so I'm still gonna work my butt off.

@@Wafflesmom Sounds like you are doing so well! Keep it up. It's so tough at this time of year, I know. The program is called Healthy Role Models. It is run by a couple from Nanaimo (trainer types), so a lot of participants are from Vancouver Island, but since it's online, there are participants from all over the world. PM me if you want more info.

@@vancouverpetunia thanks, means a lot coming from you :)

So I spoke to my bootcamp instructor this week and we spoke about my goals in the lead up to the wedding. I told her that I didn't really have a weight loss goal in mind since body weight can fluctuate so much. Rather, I to,d her I wanted to tone my body, especially my stomach area. She said that I was doing well with my training and we'd focus more on food. Since we're being realistic, we'll focus on a diet of lean meats and cutting out sugars and bad carbs starting January. With the holidays, she knows it's tough. It doesn't mean I can eat everything in sight but I will start getting stricter starting Jan 1. After all, after that date, I'll only have 3 weeks left...woohoo

And I've lost 1.5 lbs already! It's crazy how cutting out snacking can do a body good!

Today was weigh in for me! I was excited and nervous. I know when you start a new workout program your muscles get sore and your body retains more water to speed recovery. And I've been really sore with my new program so I was hesitant yet I knew I'd been pretty good with my nutrition. I'm happy to report I lost 1.7lbs!!! Super happy! That puts my total at 7.3 since August. I'm starting to feel like I'm in the groove again, although that means my wedding planning has gone out the window. I will post an update to my thread this weekend though! I need to get back on track! 2 months to go!

@@vancouverpetunia and @@calgarybride2015 snacking is my kryptonite, why must chips and cookies be so bad for you but taste so good!?!?

And I hope our eye twitches go away soon! Hopefully my week off from work during the holidays will cure what ails me.
