Hi @@vancouverpetunia

Sorry...I have been AWOL since returning from Mexico & put on around 7 lbs !! I have been working 6 days nearly every week and not made time to exercise or think about food. I plan to give myself a push from Monday to do more exercise (at least 45 mins for 3-4 days) and try to detox whilst on a shake plan. Will add one healthy meal in the first few days.

Good luck all!

Sorry I've been so distant, I am just really short on time :)

Thanks for checking in though and making us accountable Erin! And good job to you!!!

I am about 13 weeks in and have clocked in at 11.6 lbs down!  I am trying hard to workout once a week, but have been fairly good at eating properly.  The closer we get to Christmas the harder it is getting, but I am surely trying!!!!

Then Cuba in January and I am scared I am going to put it all back on hahah, but I will get there. About 12 lbs from where I am comfortable.

Good luck everyone!

You've been making great progress, Kim. I know the holidays and vacation will be tough, but stay strong! And if you get set back a bit, that's okay. Just make sure to get back on that horse

@@vancouverpetunia I'm so sorry for neglecting the thread, thank you so much for holding us accountable 11 lbs lost? Wow, congrats Hun!!! That's awesome to hear, your motivation is so inspiring and clearly your determination works! I agree that the holidays is so hard, especially with all the work parties and treats everywhere.

I have been really good with my workouts but have fallen off the healthy eating at night and have started to snack....a lot! I've still been good with meal prep for work but night time is when I turn to my old habits. I weighed myself recently and noticed that I've gained a couple of pounds, ugh. Coincidentally, my bootcamp instructor texted me over the weekend and asked me what my game plan was for the 7 weeks I have left till wedding day. I confessed that I've been snacking more so now we're on a plan. I will add a third bootcamp session to my regular weekly exercise regimen so I'll be working out 5x a week instead of 4. I've also made a promise to her that I will try to not snack at night and she will check up on me nightly to make sure I keep my promise. Today we did my weigh-in and measurements. Sadly I did gain weight (3.5 lbs) but my measurements were basically the same (gained half an inch at the bust and hips but lost an inch around my waist). I was quite happy with that since it's my time of the month, yet my measurements were still good. I'm hoping the weight gain is also from this, or even muscle mass? As for snacking, I brushed my teeth after dinner and have not craved any snacks. So far so good, especially for day 1.

How are you all doing?

@@vancouverpetunia well done on the 11lbs weight loss! You are my inspiration! So amazing and determined! I love it!

@@Wafflesmom you are still doing good. At least you aren't slacking on all areas of the regime! You sound like you are well on your way to being on track again. And good for you for having a trainer that's also willing to hold you accountable! Keep up the good work!

@@calgarybride2015 you are crushing it with those 11.6lbs in the past! You are so determined I love it! Keep it up girl! You motivate me!

Me on the other hand, I've been downright horrible. It was our 5 year anniversary 2 weekends ago so we spent the weekend in the mountains and had the keg, and LOTS of wine! Then I got a stomach bug for three days and ate nothing but chicken noodle soup. I have worked out maybe once in a week and a half. I also got attacked last night by my soy intolerance causing me to not workout once again :( I feel like I'm just full of excuses but it's hard when you don't feel good.

I just purchased a new workout program called the masters hammer and chisel. It's 60 days and we have just under 80 till our wedding so as soon as it arrives in going to start the program, be diligent on my diet and only cheat on Xmas eve and day! I need to get better at checking in here's I read all the posts but I'm so busy / lazy that i don't post. Plus I'm bummed I'm not doing as good as is hoped by now. Time to turn the game around. Thanks for picking this thread back up ladies! Let's crush this holiday season!!!!

I like it! We're gonna crush this holiday season!  :D

@@Wafflesmom Thank you. I'm pretty pleased with my progress so far, but it's easy to slip back into bad habits, I know! It's great to hear your measurements are looking good and that you are going to bump up the bootcamps. Evening snack time is the worst! What if you tried snacking on something healthy? That way you are "filling the void" but hopefully in a healthier way. Or try fruit-infused water?

@@yycbride2016 Awwwhhh shucks. I don't think I have ever been "inspirational" when it comes to fitness & nutrition! I'm sorry to hear you've been having a rough go. I hope you had a nice anniversary celebration though. Don't be too hard on yourself. You can't do much when you are feeling sick! Let us know how you like the new work out.

Just checking in ladies... I'm happy to say I did 3 resistance workouts (although cut one shorter than usual) and 3 cardio workouts this past week. I was aiming for 3 and 2. But not so great on the food front... I put on half a pound. Oh well. I'm not gonna lose sleep over it.

So I've been doing a fitness & nutrition program for a full 12 weeks now. A friend/former colleague got me into it. It's mainly online with a big support group on Facebook, as well as workout videos, nutritional guidelines, recipes, etc. 12 weeks ago I took my measurements. I took them again today. I didn't lose any inches on my legs, which doesn't surprise me. I have always had pretty muscular legs and I used do a lot of spin classes. But I have lost 1.5" at my shoulders and 3" at my waist. I'm still no super model, but pleased with the progress.

I won't freak you out with my comparison pix, except one... where did my back fat go?!?  :D

Ummmm sister that's totally noticeable and awesome. Way to go girl. Gives me the motivation I need today to get my arse up and to the gym, so thank you

I had a rough weekend with food last week so I was up 1-2 lbs ugh. This season is tough but I made the commitment today to get on the horse cause I need my swim suits to fit in Cuba and I don't wanna come home and start all over again :( I was just starting to feel comfortable with myself again. I will indulge a bit at a party but I won't blow the whole day.

Congrats again on your success :)
