Hello everyone,

Looking for a little info and advise.

Could someone tell me what the main differences are between the Moon Palace and the Beach Palace.  Are these both located in the same resort, are they different hotels?

Also, could someone please tell me what their beaches are like?  A good beach is a make or break for me.  I love the beach so I really would love a good beach.  I've read some comments that the beach is not very good and I'm a little concerned.

Thanks in advance :)

@@Jenjennyjen I went to Moon Palace in December, but chose Beach Palace for my wedding! Moon Palace was awesome and we absolutely loved it. It's huge and has several good restaurants, a golf course, dolphin swim, putt putt golf, three pools, a night club... a lot of amenities! However, I chose Beach Palace for my wedding because it is a lot smaller, so I thought it would be a little more intimate/easier for guests to find each other and get to know each other. Plus, it has a better beach. (Although the beach at Moon Palace wasn't terrible... we still enjoyed it!) Both resorts are great - I think it just depends on what you are looking for in your wedding resort.  Let me know if you have any questions. I spent A LOT of time on trip advisor and looking through the threads on this website before making my decision. :)

@Jenjennyjen  Welcome to BDW! As you can see from previous comments, you've come to the right place for information!

The best advice I would give, other than the comments you'll get from the ladies here, is to talk to a travel agent! Both Moon Palace and Beach Palace are popular wedding resorts, but they each have their own features that may or may not appeal to your particular group. You also need to consider your budget and your must haves and have nots, as you mentioned - a nice beach. A travel agent will be able to review what you want and don't want with you as well as your group price point and may even suggest another resort that better suits your needs! You could always contact the administrators of this site, Wright Travel. They're destination wedding specialists and could definitely provide you with information to help you make the best choice for you and your group.

Good luck and happy planning!
