No, they have 1 stop. They stop in Mexico City. We booked with United and its a 2.5 hour flight. Straight from Houston to Cancun. I didn't want to go that route for our guests but it was the most affordable option that we would do.

Have used AeroMexico twice to go to the Cancun area, and had no problems! I wouldn't sweat it -- the good thing is that they have several flights going in and out of the area should your flight be delayed or changed. Don't stress girl!!!!

I think it's totally ok. It's a free flight for them. If it was me I'd just be thankful it was free and not care there was a stop! You did good.
