I Leave For Mexico In 30 Days!

Recommended Posts

It's becoming real. We leave for Mexico in 30 days. I feel like I HAVE so much to do but don't know where to begin.  :P Do you brides have any advice on what you did within those 30 days??? I'm just getting soooo darn excited!  :D

Just keep plugging away!! I had a list and just kept crossing things off. Get your favors and gifts so you can start packing them -- if you are done with it, pack it. Makes the last week less stressful. Remember to organize your receipts and print your wedding paperwork - I printed the odd email that had a price in it that I wanted guaranteed but since I had my bill already it wasn't really needed. Also I made a list of what was in each suitcase and the quantities incase we did get checked at customs.

Make any appointments you may need - nails, waxing, hair, etc. Ensure you have your final dress fitting and pick up set.

It's just the time to tie up loose ends but the more you do now the less stress you'll feel the last week. Yay so exciting. Good luck.

Make a detailed list and start checking off items. Even small things like making sure you have all your prescriptions filled to take with you or some books for reading. I packed a lot in the month before to make sure all our OOt bag stuff would fit , etc. Be mindful of things like for example I hadn't tried on my rehearsal dinner dress for awhile and did and then hated it, so now scrambling in last week to find new one. Every weekend I would make sure to finish my projects like the fans and maraca tags

Congrats!  We are leaving in 71 days and I have a checklist with everything we have to do before then.  I just keep checking off as much as possible everyday.  I agree with the packing, or at least start a list of what you want to bring to make sure you have everything you need/want!

Immunizations was one I left way to last minute! If you need any.

For receipts I had two envelopes. One for OOT items and one for decorations incase customs stopped me I could prove their cost. The wedding documents could prove it was for a wedding :)
