Oh I love all of your purchases! I love the colours on your garter, but you're right in that it may show through. I'm glad you've already thought of an alternate use for it I'm sure Doug will be happy

 

And the cake toppers look great, just like the pics you showed us. I can't wait to see them on your wedding cake

 

I actually bought my cake topper (which I still have to post) from Weddingstar. Anytime you see anything from The Knot store, Canadians can buy it from Weddingstar since they sell the same things but in Canadian and no int'l shipping fees. Plus they have sales often so never buy anything regular price unless you're in a time crunch

 

And please say hi to everyone at the meet-up for me. Still jealous that I can't join!

I'm actually anxious to see the cake topper on too, all put together. Doug hasn't seen it yet. That's a surprise. He wanted to know why we needed coloured straws.... lol All I had to say was "because" and I got the eyeball roll lol

 

I wasn't expecting the garter to be quite so bright! lol Don't get me wrong - when you actually see it she did a beautiful job but yeah.... somehow I don't think it will go under my dress.

You may find it uncomfortable too. I have skater thighs lol and I had a mark on my leg for days. I had to remove it, it hurt so bad

You can wear it after for fun hehe
