Veryvalero's Wedding Planning Thread - Grand Sunset Princess

Recommended Posts

I feel beyond relieved.  I feel like a bride that is getting married in 2 months!  yay!  I cried so much on sunday and Monday but I'm just so glad that it's fixed now.  The consultant that helped me was amazing.  She was the best.

I lost 8lbs from Sunday to today.  I had been following a very strict diet and going to the gym 1-2 times a day...I'm still going to continue this regime but not as hardcore with the gym as I don't think I can keep up the momentum for the next 2 months.

The DRESSS

thank you so much for your kind words and support the past few days!  I went to the bridal store yesterday and tried the dress on for my consultant.  She didn't understand how it wasn't fitting.  She took my measurements and if anything I was smaller since the last time she saw me.  They brought in alterations and she couldn't figure it out.  I tried the next size up and it was now too big.  So we couldn't figure it.  Finally the manager came and looked through my paper work and they realized that I had ordered a 14W and the dress was actually a 14. So that's why it wasn't fitting as nice.

I tried the store's 14W and it fit perfectly.  The dress comes in at the end of this month and then I'll rush to alterations.

It's been a crazy experience but it gave me a good wake up call to get back to my weightloss goals.  I'm still going to be hardcore with my works outs and diet.  I want to feel the best I can possibly feel on that day.

thanks ladies! :)

*I can now breathe*

those are such great news!! I'm glad they can still order a new dress in time :D and everything worked out.

Aside from getting back on your health routine, you should also celebrate that you're one size smaller than when you got the dress! That's no small achievement ;).

Props to you for working out twice a day! I can barely work out once a day, sometimes beating the internal endless list of excuses haha. I think if you really watch the diet, even if you don't go twice a day to the gym, you'll see pretty big changes anyway ;).

@@TinkerSofi  I think so too!!  The nice thing is that the dress fits so I don't  have like major pressure on my back.  But I still want to look my best so that's what's going to motivate me right now.

I go twice to the gym because I go on my lunch break and then in the evenings I try to catch a step class or pump class at goodlife.  So it's about 2 hours of working out which isn't a lot considering that i'm sitting down most of the day at the office.  hahaha

Wooooo amazing!  Keep it up :)  I'm at the gym at 5am every morning, seeing the progress (and remembering that I'm going to be on a beach for a whole week in front of lots of people lol) made me fall in love with the process.  Every time you hit the gym or have a healthy meal you are closer to your goal.  And even if you don't hit you're goal you are treating you're body right and becoming a healthier you!  Good job girl!

Woohoo, so glad to hear that it's all worked out and they're able to order a new dress in time. That's one less stress you don't need and you can now focus on other things. I knew it would all work out for you, see another hurdle you were able to overcome.

And you've lost 8 lbs? Way to go, such an inspiration to all of us. Just make sure you're still getting some rest in between all the workouts. I don't want you getting sick again!

P.S. Wow I sounded like my mom lol

@@deecol  It's exactly that!  I am in this mind, body and soul.  I'm finding out that my food triggers are stress.  I was stressed about something yesterday and I wanted to reach for that snack...so i'm really learning a lot right now and learning to push my body to new limits.  ;)

Thanks for the encouragement!  :)
