I love the pink shoes with your dress!!! @@TinkerSofi !! The detail around the ankle is so cute!! Completely in love with them!! I say keep the champagne ones just as a back up for any other wedding outfits ( showers, dinners ) or just to add to the collection! cant even have enough shoes haha!! :D

The drama with your FI's friend is overboard. :( Im really hoping I don't begin to get that drama ( even tho I am certain I will) haven't even sent out the official STD and already getting tons of questions and changes. grrr...  It may be time for you to stop accomidating and say HEY sorry she cant come now! If she actually decides to come now the person you roomed with him will now be alone and the chaos will begin again.  :( I hope you get that figured out .

I agree with you, we are in this mess because we accommodated him in the first place. Juan was pretty direct that the plans are done and she should have said something before if she wanted to come. I don't think she'll say yes, but this is just placing totally unnecessary stress on Juan and I. If she does say yes then we're in this whole mess again with one person without a roommate and I'm out of ideas honestly. Plus, he'll make us look bad with two people. I really don't want to make some guests feel like they are less important than others and that's why I don't want to change plans again, because that's how it would look.

Juan is basically done with his friends too. I feel really bad for him :(

Oh my!!! The never ending drama of these boys!! Sometimes I wonder if it's an age thing -- how old are they?

I feel for you guys and good for Juan to put his foot down. At some point enough is enough.

Never stops amazing the drama weddings create!

I know! You'd think the drama is coming from the girls but my friends have been amazing throughout the process, and even our mutual friends. It could be age, this guy is 30 going on 20 and she's 20 hahah. I really think (and like to think) that they are completely oblivious as to how much planning and coordination a wedding takes.

On kind of a related note, I need your guys' opinion. Our final payment is due on June 14 and we have a family who last June said they would come but would wait to book and haven't mentioned anything since. We sent them a message on Sunday asking them if they were still thinking of coming and letting them know that we got that deal on packages where they can still book at the same price we had been quoted originally. They haven't replied yet, so I was wondering if it would be too pushy if I give them a call at the end of the week and ask? of course if they haven't replied by then. I mean maybe they're still thinking about it? I don't know. i don't want to be on their face but I need to finish planning! (the planner needs to plan! haha)

When you emailed them Sunday did you tell them there was a deadline for numbers to the resort? Or was it more casual?

@@TinkerSofi I'm so sorry that you guys have to deal with the drama especially when you guys have been so accommodating for your guests and trying to make it work for everyone. I hope that everything works out in the end. "30 going on 20" hahaha - I agree people really take it for granted all the work involved that goes into arranging for a DW especially. My fiancé's biological father still hasn't booked even though he's been ready to book for months and has been talking with my TA. He keeps saying "she hasn't called me" when in fact my TA is waiting on information from him like his passport info and credit card LOL! I have to laugh because it's so frustrating…otherwise I wouldn't be able to handle it. You know those people are the ones that will complain about prices going up even though you've warned them about it when they didn't book on time.

As for the last minute bookers - I think it's totally fine to give them a gentle call at the end of the week to check in, just a friendly "just wondering if you got my message"…but then again that's the planner in me too! LOL!

I don't know. I left it up to Juan but he probably didn't tell them. We're telling people the first week of May is our cut off but I don't know if he actually told them haha. I'll ask him tonight when I talk to him again :)

Haha yeah some people are just frustrating!

I really don't think it's only for DW, I'm sure people with local weddings have to deal with some shenanigans like this too. I'm glad this is really the only drama going on. I really can't complain otherwise :)

If you aren't sure I'd call them and just say 'we hate to pry but our absolute deadline is may 5 and didn't want you to miss out as we'd love you to be there'.
