Help Making A Decision

I currently am working now with a Travel Agent and working narrowing down the locations. We have both agreed on Mexico. and Now its selecting from the hundreds there .. haha! I really am pulling closely to the Now Resorts, Dreams Rivera... basically the Rivera Maya area.. I really don’t like teh cancun area with the tall buildings. I want more of a beach relaxing area and  be able to go out and venture to the bigger party areas.

Anyone have details on the difference between Now Jade and Now Sapphire? I even saw that Now Jade allows outside vendors for a 65 day pass versus Now Sapphire charges 300. Making my decision around photography as well. its super important to me.

Also- Im going to Mexico in Sept. for my Friends wedding and was thinking to take 1/2 a day and go view some resorts. Anyone know how that would go? Any fees i may need to look into? maybe speaking about that with my agent?  Does anyone believe i should just book one now prior to looking to atleast secure a date at a location and have the ball rolling for my guest?

Thank you!!!

@racht33 - Even though we had already locked in our resort last summer, we did a site visit in November because we were in Cozumel and figured it would be a good idea. We coordinated it with our wedding coordinator and we didn't have to pay for any sort of day pass. We didn't eat there or anything, though. We just got a tour and discussed some wedding things. I'm sure you can just contact the respective WCs and they'll arrange for you to visit.
