Paying Photographer Before To Leave

Hi there,

Do any of you pay your photography before you left? IF so how long before you left? Did you pay through Pay Pal or wire transfer?

We had to pay our photographer in Jamaica before we left. I think we have an option of balance on the wedding day for the renewal but I don't want the headache. There will be enough to pay once down there without worrying about something that can be paid before leaving.

Yeah that's the way I look at it too. The more I pay before I go down there the less I have to worry about paying once there. Would rather have at least the photographer paid seeing how that is a big chunk.

We paid a deposit then the balance two weeks before the wedding, PayPal

Wish I could pay in some way other than cash! Mine wants cash or an additional 16% would be charged.
