The Rapid Of Declines Rsvps Are Coming In...

Just weighing in...I get sad and disappointed at times because some of the most important people to me can't make our wedding since it is in Mexico. Don't get me wrong, I completely understand that it is a huge commitment. But, I can't help but feel bummed out at times..and almost regretting our decision.

It is tough but once you get there and it's all over you won't regret your decision for a minute.

*hugs* I felt the same way too and was beginning to doubt our choice of having a destination wedding. I was thinking that a Mexico wedding was too much and felt like we should have done Austin (2.5 hours away from our hometown) wedding instead since we knew everyone would be able to make it.

It's completely normal to feel bummed but don't regret it. This is what you and your fiance wants. That's what I told myself...this is what we wanted and we are happy with the choice. Now that we are getting closer to our wedding date, I don't regret it at all. We are excited but we are sad that most of the important people cannot make it. Overall, you guys will have a wonderful vacation and a beautiful wedding.  ;)

@@hellosassypants, thanks! I think it helps just to hear that other brides are struggling with the same thing, and to know it's ok to feel sad, but the need to enjoy the decision that we've made.

we both are getting married in 49 days!

Honestly the closer I get to the wedding the more excited I get and the less I care about those who can't make it. I'm super pumped to hang out with those who can . It almost feels like a distant memory getting so heartbroken a year ago when close friends and family declined. Which I am glad about, who wants to feel salty on their wedding day ? !
