Wedding Website Question

Recommended Posts

Hi Ladies!

What do you think is the best and/or easiest and/or most user friendly wedding website host? Or what did you use?

(examples: weddingwire, the knot, weebly, WIX and so on)

I'm helping a friend who recently got engaged with her planning process, as I've been researching at home weddings and destination weddings for about a year now. (I personally started with having my wedding at home, but then quickly learned destination wedding was a better fit for me and hopefully less stressful.) Anyways, she asked about a wedding website. I made mine, but did it from scratch. I can't recommend this to her as she has no prior website design knowledge and I don't have time to do it for her.

Thanks!

I used mywedding.com.  It's reasonably user friendly and likes with the Wedding Party free app so people can share pictures right to your website, which is kind of neat.  It also has an option to password protect your site, which I really like.  For a free website, it seems to have quite a bit of functionality and customization options.

I used mywedding.com simply because you can set it up with a password and it's not open to the whole world :) it's so easy to use!

I have used weebly in the past and it's easy but not as user friendly as mywedding

I am using appycouple.com. I really like the look of the site, the RSVP/Guest management functionality, group chat functionality, and the app option. I do have my site private, and I can see who has logged in to either the site or the app and when.

So when they are asking me a bunch of dumb questions I can say "Well if you looked at the website you would know the answer!" haha.

Four years ago we also used mywedding.com  It was super easy and easy for people to get to and look at. We password protected it and just gave the password to family and friends.
