popped blood vessel in the eye

Does anyone know if that is what it is when you have a big red spot in your eye?

My husband thinks its from throwing up, but I have no idea I have never had anything like this and I know its not pink eye because its not itchy and I don't have gunk.

I had a popped blood vessel in my eye before and it was from violently throwing up. Of course, I was throwing up from drinking too much, but I also threw up a lot when I was pregnant. It sounds like a popped blood vessel, it goes away in a few days.

I have never had one, but I know lots os people that it happens too and it is mostly from throwing up after partying too hard.

yes Christine, you can definitely pop a blood vessel from throwing up, the good news is it goes away in a couple days... Hope you are feeling better soon...

I had that once last year. It was not anything serious. My doctor gave me some eye drop and the redness went away in a weeek.
