I am getting married in Jamaica next year and I have been checking out wedding planners in Jamaica. Does anyone know anything about Helen G Events or had any experience with them?

I was married in Jamaica 3 years ago, and did things without a planner. It was all so easy to do! The resorts are great at doing what needs to be done. I think Jamaica is probably one of the easiest places to put a wedding together!

Hi,

 

I started working with the resorts and they took a long time to get back to me, so frustrating so I hired Helen G and I have been working with her for over 6 months now and she has been great. She helped us book our accommodations and we got the local rate and now we are booking a location off  the resort so we can have privacy and do what we want without any time restrictions.

 

She is not the cheapest but it has been worth it in terms of saving me time and money calling the resorts etc. and she is very professional compared to all the other planners I checked and gives great advice. Plus her reviews all over the internet was great.

I have checked her work on her website, facebook and instagram and her reviews on wedding wire and elsewhere and I am impressed plus she has been great so far so I am going to book with her. Well so far Helen has been great, we just found our wedding location in a week after months of searching on our own and we are very happy.

 

Planning a destination wedding in Jamaica isn't easy especially if you don't want to do the usual all inclusive hotels and having a great wedding planner is wonderful.

One of my friends used them for their wedding and they did everything for them and did a great job.  The were very happy with them.
