How Different Should Moh, Bm And Bride Bouquet Be?

Recommended Posts

Hi All,

How different should the MOH, BMs and Bride's flowers be? I am going to order silk flowers and am leaning towards these ones:

Flowers 2

Flowers

The MOH bouquet is larger than the BMs, but should they be different from mine? (The bridal bouquet is the one in the picture with the boutonnieres). My girls are wearing royal blue, so I was thinking of them just having the yellow and white flowers, that way mine would stand out a little more. I have seen pictures where the BMs flowers are much different than the brides and it looks nice, but it also looks nice to have them all the same. I'm confused now!

Any help or advice would be appreciated!

Honestly, I didn't know people actually got the MOH different and/or larger bouquets than the BMs.  It's not something I, personally, would worry about.  People may glance at their flowers, but they are not a focal point at all I would think.

If you wanted yours to stand out more then I would do blue, yellow, and white for you. I would get them yellow and white, but I would get the entire bridal party the same bouquet and size.

Less stress for you -- ie less choices to make!

My MoH dress will be slightly different however her flowers will be the same as others. Don't think there is a rule of thumb.... Go with what you like!

Yeah, I think anything goes with the flowers. I've seen the bridesmaids having smaller amounts, and the bride having bigger but with the same exact flowers. And I've seen different flowers for the bride. Whatever you choose will look great! Love the blue and yellow!

I have been MOH before and I had the same flowers as the rest of the girls.  For my wedding, I will have a mega bouquet and the BMs will have a slightly smaller bouquet which will double as centre pieces later on in the night for the reception.
