Hello all! Another newbie in the group. I am a Canadian bride planning a DW somewhere warm. My Fiance and I are trying to decide between Dominican Republic, Punta Cana and Curacao. Felling a little lost right now trying to decide on a resort lol. Hoping to gain some insightful knowledge from everyone here.

Do you have a date decide for April 2015? I am getting married in Punta Cana, Dominican Replublic. I chose this because at the time I was looking the packages for all inclusives were pretty pricey? Have you looked into any resorts yet or pricing different places?

Congrats on your engagement. If you're looking to get married in April 2015 at a resort or specific venue I would hurry up and decide on a location. You may find that your top picks are already booked. April seems to be a very popular month. Good luck to you.

this is true @@puravida2015. When I booked mine like 4 months ago time slots were starting to fill up then.

@@kcole123, I see we're wedding date buddies!!! Great date!! My resort is actually sold out the week of my wedding. There are several of us getting married that week.

oh wow @@puravida2015 I hadn't noticed that until you mentioned it. Yay going to be a good day all around.

I am not sure if my resort is sold out. I can imagine it is because they were getting close 4 months ago.

I agree with @@kcole123 and @@puravida2015. We are getting married in Jamaica but when we were looking in June 2014 at April 2015 dates, we couldn't get any dates we would want because they were booked. So now we are June 2015! If you do get your date, you'll probably also want to look into your vendors (like photographer) soon as well.
