It's cute! I think it depends how snug it is.... if it is mildly snug and you think 5 lbs will do the trick then I say keep it.

Otherwise I would probably exchange for the 8 to be safe.

@@TinkerSofi - I have a small chest too and it holds up fine. There's actually boning in the bodice so I didn't even need a bra! Not the most comfortable thing but it definitely held up
