Meal Options

Recommended Posts

Thanks for the feedback! It actually isn't any more $$ to have two options so I figured why not give our guests the choice. Was definitely surprised that it was an "extra" LOL. @@NJBride2014 our food is very similar! :Dcute menus! I cant wait to hear all about your big day!

@ So glad you posted about this! I'm going through the same decision making process and I know we have the same resort so I was wondering how you were going about this lol

It's a great idea to have them choose with the rsvp. At first they told me to choose one entrée but that seemed ridiculous lol Not sure how I will differentiate them either but I have a little time for that.

Hi @@Lia33 ! Hope your planning is going well... We actually ended up with the rib eye steak and red snapper for the fish option. FI really wanted the red snapper instead of the salmon because he had it at the Mexican restaurant last year and loved it so that was that. The vegetarian option actually sounds super good too and I have had a lot of RSVPs for it. Still no clue how I will differentiate but I am sure I will come up with something. Planning is now in the super stressful stage lol 4.5 months left and all kinds of final decisions needed! AHHH... stressful but fun and exciting!

We were originally told that we could only have one option, but we did find out that we can have 2 options (I guess 3 if you include vegetarian) but you would have to have a seating plan and color code who is getting what. I am still on the fence if I want to give this option. We do color coding for all our work events so it wouldnt' be that hard, but we figure even if we do one option, people can go to the buffet if they want something else.
