Question About Mixing Up Jewelry

Recommended Posts

Hello ladies

I bought a nice pearl necklace and bracelet for my wedding which match eachother and the color of my dress.

I'm a huge Pandora fan and have been eying up their new bangle for awhile. Well yesterday for my birthday my fiancé got me that with a Mexico charm and a 'together forever' charm. It's super special and he's so proud of himself hehe

My question is -- can I wear a pearl necklace and a silver bangle bracelet? I'm thinking no that they will clash. but curious on your thoughts.

Probably best to actually get my dress on and see!

Thanks.

Nowdays, everybody always mixes stuff with other stuff. I can't see why you couldn't wear one on one wrist, and the other on the other wrist, especially given the sentimental value of the new bracelet. I've seen photos where ladies have pearls on one wrist and swarovski's on the other so why would it be any different?

I say go with whatever you want to wear!! It's your wedding!

Thanks ladies. At the end of the day I'm sure no one will be looking at my bracelet lol but you all know how it is.

Maybe I'll try both on or just bring both and see what I think.

I love things with sentimental value. Thanks :)

It's hard to say for sure without a picture, but stacking bracelets is totally in right now and I could see how the pearls and the silver would look great together.  I would say to make sure you tie in silver and pearl with your earrings.

I've decided that I will probably get the matching pearl bracelets for my necklace. I LOVE my pearl necklace so won't be changing that, and my something old is my sister's pearl earrings.    I may do my something borrowed as the bracelets as my BM's sister in law just married with the same set ha!
