I will be visiting Playacar palace in a few weeks and I am working on my materials for our site visit. Are they any tips, lessons, questions etc. that you have that I should do, ask, or prepare for?

Thank you

A tip that many don't think of... Take a measuring tape with you... It's good for taking measurements of any areas that you are doing DIY projects for or are wanting to plan out. (Gazebo dimensions if you bringing your own fabric... Aisle length so you can plan music etc).

Enjoy the visit! That's a resort I would love to go to, but definitely out of budget!!

I would go through your wedding day one step at a time and write down all of the questions you want to ask ahead of time. That way when you get your site visit and your time with the coordinator, you'll have all of your questions ready.

Good luck. Definitely let us know what you find out. I would love to know!

When we did our site visits I made sure to write down our must haves and deal breakers and made note as we went through. Don't be afraid to ask to see the rooms if they don't offer and make sure to check out the beach to see what that looks like and the water. It's also interesting the type of feel each resort can have to you want to make sure the feel (fun, party, stuffy, quiet, etc) fits your group and what you want for your wedding! Make sure you have a camera and take tons of pictures! It's alot to take in with a ton of information so it's better to take tons of pictures of everything so it's easier to recall the details later when you're making your decision. Good luck!

@@jsparrow10 thank you very good ideas. I never would have thought of looking at the rooms.

@@MomentsThatMatter your pictures are absolutely beautiful. It is nice to see what the possibilities are. We are having a 6pm ceremony and I think it's great to see the night time shots.

We just got back from our site visits.  We had 5 planned and after seeing Dreams Tulum, we didn't bother with the others. We told ourselves going down, if we were wowed, and Dreams wowed us.

Our coordinator showed us all sites for ceremony and receptions, rain back ups, ideas of things to do.  We saw all room categories, and took pics of everything including the map of the resort so folks could see the layout, we took pics of the menus at the restaurants, etc.

There were 2 weddings that we saw and took pics of that too so it was nice to SEE what weddings look like and the different options.

I hope your experience is as wonderful as ours was. Playacar Palace was one we were supposed to see  :)
