Hello ladies!  I need some advice, please :)

It looks like we are going to have an AHR for our families and parents' friends the same day we have our Catholic church wedding.  It'll be the week before or after our Mexico wedding (so December/January).  We're looking at about 70 people for a nice dinner at a restaurant.  I would like to get a dress to wear to it that I can also wear for my TTD session!  Which dress should I get?

1) Replica of the Truvelle Julia dress

I do really love this dress and I'd even wear it as a reception dress, but I'm afraid of it being too revealing/blingy in church, even with a cover up. Also, I'd be getting a replica made not the actual dress, so it might not look exactly like this.  And a part of me would rather just buy the dress ready to wear instead of ordering one to be made

2) Jenny Yoo Annabelle dress in Blush or Ivory

I actually tried this dress on at BHLDN  and really liked it.  I look really awkward in this picture, but it fit well and I like how it's different from my regular dress.  I'd wear it with a blingy belt and the dress topper below.  Ivory or Blush?  Which would photograph better for my TTD?

3) David's Bridal Galina Swiss Dot Dress

I tried this dress on and I actually really loved it, but I wanted something with more oomph for my wedding dress. It'd be great for this purpose though and would look pretty. This one costs about $100 more than the above though, so not quite sure if I want to pay that much.

This is the dress topper from BHLDN that I'm thinking of getting to wear with the dress in church, and I could wear it with my actual wedding dress too

Any advice would be great :)

Ok, I have to be honest -- I have no idea what BHLDN stands for.

Ugh, this is a tough decision because they are ALL awesome. Really, I love them all :)

Since the first one will be a replica and you haven't tried it on, I would probably lean to #2 or #3. I have a hard time with items I haven't been able to try on or I am unsure exactly how they will turn out. I would hate for you not to like it and waste $$$.

The remaining choices are both fantastic. Since #2 is cheaper, maybe go for that one?

I think the blush color would look fantastic on you and it gives you an opportunity to try something different, color wise. I also think the contrast in color with the 'cover up' would be pretty. It's also a solid material (for lack of better word), so with the print/pattern in the cover up they won't clash. Dress #3 has a print and the coverup has a print which aren't the same, so wondering how well they would go together? (am I making sense here?? haha)

Let us know which one you choose!

@@calgarybride2015 - BHLDN is a store :).  It's Anthropologie's wedding store... I'm going to say don't even look because they have the cutest wedding stuff and you will be tempted by everything haha.  I finally visited a real (tiny) one in NYC 2 weeks ago and the dresses are beautiful!

I think I'm agreeing with you on dress 2... it's also convertible so has these sheer panels that can be worn a bunch of different ways. Going to mull it over 1 more night then place the order tomorrow because I want to ship it to Orlando for next week!

I'm glad you could understand where I was going there, haha it's bedtime.

Sounds like you may have a decision :)

It's awesome you can do the USA shipping. We are close to a border this weekend but I didn't make my mind up on a few things quick enough so it's too late :(

I looove #2! I agree with Kim on the blush color as well. I also had 2 failed overseas custom dress issues (babydolldressonline and an eBay seller). I ended up getting a bridesmaid dress in white for mine, and it was right at my budget! The cover up is so beautiful and sophisticated, love it!

Only reason why I vote for #1 is that you have loved that dress forever...I remember when you first brought it up- and it's stunning!

But I really like #2 as well.

Ps... Anthropologie has a wedding store.... Arg I'm in trouble!!!
