@@calgarybride2015 - I thought about it but I was afraid of it not printing well so I just printed them on regular cardstock! 10 to a sheet double sided - worked out fine and it was definitely even cheaper I think than Vistaprint. Cutting paper is SO tedious though.

I'm going to do the same for tip/room key inserts - add that to my list

Def. not looking forward to taking the labels off - I don't think I'll be able to wrangle my FI into helping either but my mom probably will :)

You didn't think vista print would print well? I've heard great reviews. Mine won't be double sided so they can change things out (thinking of them using them again!)

I planned to just use regular cardstock too but I got that vistaprint groupon. Luggage tag front inserts will be the last item so if not enough $$ will make myself.

My fiancé suggested soaking in hot water to loosen glue. Not sure?? I have goo gone and that helped but still uber tedious.

@@calgarybride2015 - I think Vistaprint is fine (planning on using them to print my door hangers and thank you/itinerary cards). I meant not print well because I copied the Cancun pic off the Internet :) and I was worried it'd print grainy because of low resolution so I just printed them myself

I will try the hot water! I have 40 cups to do :(

@@tygrrlily - seriously amazing so far!  I love love love everything!!  For a non-DIY'er, you did a wonderful job on the mailers :)

Keep updating - I can't wait to see what is next!!  Excited to see how the TTD custom turns out as well - still love that style and I think it'll be perfect for you!

Thanks girls!  We've been getting a GREAT response about the little packages.  People really liked the CD and a whole bunch of people told me they've been listening to it all week :) !

I'm pretty bad at the DIY stuff but here's another attempt

I made all my printables for our wedding- I made a door hanger, thank you note with menu card on the back to put on plates during the reception, and a welcome letter with itinerary on the back.  Kind of bad to admit but I basically copied designs I liked from etsy . Also used a free printable from Weddingchicks for the last pic.  I was going to originally buy them but I decided to save some money this way.  It was actually pretty easy, and fun to play around with fonts. I need to get a hole puncher to punch the door hangers, but everything else is good to go!

i got that $27 for $70 worth of printing from Vistaprint.  Just a note to the Canadian girls that the code wouldn't work for me on the Canadian site so I ordered through the American site. My subtotal was $72.  After shipping and taxes, I paid $17.69 + the original $27 - not bad!  I'm actually quite pleased with the quality.  My FI actually admired them without prompting too and said they looked really good! I went with the standard glossy card stock for the thank you and welcome letters, then upgraded the card stock on the door hangers to make it thicker.

My door hanger is a rack card (a lot smaller than I expected FYI - I should have read closer as I'd have liked these a bit bigger), the welcome letter/itinerary is an oversized postcard and the thank you letter/menu is a medium postcard.  The printing actually looks GREAT - not blurry at all.  I was a bit worried because I got that message about low resolution, but I don't really have any images, just text, and it all printed great.

Overall pretty pleased!

I've heard that about the groupon so I was worried about the one I bought. Mine dearly said Canada (was $30 for $60). We shall see in the next week or two when I'm ready to print.

Awesome job on all!!!! And don't feel bad I'm sure everyone uses ideas from etsy or Pinterest and re duplicates!

Have you bought business cards? I tend to lean to the personal ones as I can get 50 (don't need 100). It doesn't look like the cardstock is different/cheaper just less designs to choose from. Curious if anyone had experience with this.

Again great job! Love seeing your ideas. I guess it's my turn next :)

Thank you for putting what you used! I've been waffling about getting the Groupon because I don't know what size to use! How long did they take to arrive? I'm not printing until January or February, so I want to be sure the deal lasts lol (most expire this year)
