@ & @@smileitseb, thank you! I bought them at Little White Dress Bridal Boutique in Denver. They are by Elen Henderson Designs, but this is their website.

Yes, less than one month out! I cannot believe it! To make the time go by faster, I am counting down the number of shifts left at the hospital haha (TEN!!! wooo hoooo)  :)

How is everyone else's planning coming along??

I love the hair flower and your shoes. The earrings are very pretty too :), they'll look great!

I think all weddings bring on family drama at some point, especially when you start getting pretty close. Our families here in Canada are very small so the chances are less but the bigger the family the worse it is. I have a really big family in Argentina and wow, there's always a different drama going on for every family get together. People that don't talk to each other, people who hate each other's guts. You didn't invite so and so and they get angry.  You name it, they have it. It's totally normal :)

Ok, this is my third time trying to reply... technology is not my friend today  ... Anyway...

LOL. Oh. Girl. I have the same to do list as you, if not more..and I am getting married in less than one month! Here goes...

To Do:

  • Finalize Wedding Planner Form (just a couple things to iron out, otherwise this can be checked off)
  • Finalize Guest List & Seating Chart (gotta love those stragglers...)
  • Finalize Ceremony script (FI will do this when he get back from his business trip). (and print a copy, just in case!)
  • Music - ceremony, first dance, AND reception   :o  <_<
  • Design and order stickers for cups (FI's going to do this... eventually)
  • "Stuff" for cups - Instead of doing OOT bags, we are putting things inside the cups and attaching a tag to each one
  • Finish said tags for cups
  • Finish purchasing items for cups - I bought chewable Airborne packets, mini Johnson & Johnson first aid kits (obvi these won't fit in the cups), and mini Aloe Vera bottles for 97 cents at Target  :). I also bought plastic baggies (I've read several times that people always find use for these?) and mint LifeSavers. Will will also add pepto and lip balm (still need to purchase).
  • Write Welcome "letter" - this will also be "stuffed" in the cups. This will include a welcome and thank you note from us, currency conversion ($1 USD = x pesos), restaurants and their hours & dress codes, an About Us section, a Who's Who section with bridal party and our moms, wedding day itinerary and reception menu, the resort map (this indicate wedding event locations), "tips", a list of places people traveled from to be at our wedding, and resort activities.
  • FI's wedding date attire (he is FINALLY doing this this weekend!)
  • Print Alternative Guestbook (FI designed it)
  • Start packing - I'm 97.4% sure we will need to purchase an extra suitcase, or two
  • Dog sitter - start taking the dogs to the sitter (as I have mentioned before, we are new to the state...and unfortunately, our dogs are spoiled and slow to warm up to people...the last thing we need is to worry about our fur babies)
  • Go to the courthouse and make things legal
  • Exchange money and get traveler's checks
  • Finish place cards and table numbers
  • Get e-ring cleaned
  • Have final fitting (I called the seamstress after panicking all day... she had only taken in the gown by stitching it, she hadn't cut anything yet, so altering it won't be a problem. I was really freaking out that I'd have to crash diet!...which would be really hard because I haven't changed my diet/activity this entire time).
  • Purchase chalk markers or dustless chalk for chalk board easel
  • Buy Tide stick, superglue (just in case something happens to the fans in transit), and more sunblock
  • Buy a few new bikinis and rompers. OH! and I want a big, floppy sunhat :D

Hmmmm.....I think that is it, for now.

^_^ Everything will get done, in due time.

@@TinkerSofi I completely agree. It is just a bummer and frustrating when one's trying to plan a wedding on top of "Life." It makes me want to make everyone sit in a circle around a camp fire, hold hands, and sing kumbaya! LOL

.....oooooor, "Why Can't We Be Friends" lol

Everything looks great.

Haha those isle runners can be dangerous too. After watching my wedding ceremony I was shocked - groomsmen tripped, me and dad got hung up on it and then my dad almost tripped again sitting down. I would have preferred the sand! Thankfully noone literally fell.

there's stairs for us to walk down to get to the aisle. I've seen so many videos of girls struggling with their dress when coming down the stairs lol. I picture myself falling flat on my face down the stairs hahah. That would be so embarrassing, but a wedding to remember for sure hahah

You are about as far as I am with the planning for sure. It seems like a lot, but like me, I am sure there is a time to do and get everything done. I am getting y lash extensions this weekend and buying a couple swimsuits, shirts and tanks and cover ups and also a floppy sun hat..haha.

Every weekend for me know is booked with something. I haven't even started to pack but that's ok. Every time I look at what I have or even think about it I panic.

I also have no music done what so ever. I jot down some if I think of any. I also have my own facebook private group for the wedding where I asked people if they had any music suggestions or requests. So I got some aonga from that.

@@pddcmc thanks for your detailed list it reminded me of a couple things I need to get on! 2 questions:

1) you are putting your reception menu on the welcome letter, are you doing this in addition to menus at dinner? I'm pretty sure im not getting menus printed for dinner....also what dinner did you decide on? I think we are doing the BBQ buffet but I am still undecided!

2) what's your chalkboard going to say?
