What To Do With Extra Invitations?

I've seen brides send their extra invitations to the President, the Queen, Mickey & Minnie Mouse, etc... has anyone recently done this and actually received a congratulatory certificate (like the ones shown on pinterest)?

I'm sending ten extra to POTUS & FLOTUS, John Stewart, Steven Colbert, Victor Cruz, Eli Manning, Rachel Maddow, Snow white (FL), Cinderella, MIcky & Minnie (CA), and a few others I forgot. Just for $hits & giggles! 

I would invite the queen...no make that Harry...he looks like he LOVES to PARTAY!!!! Good think I don't have their addy!

We wanted to send extras to our favorite famous people (hey, you never know, crazier things have happened!)... but unfortunately some last-minute adds to the invite list threw that idea out the window....

@@LauraM all may not be lost. If you have any mistakes you can use those since the famous folks won't save them and probably won't even look at them. I'll be using some that have the wrong wedsite addy...no use in wasting them. Maybe you can make a few xerox copies...

Thanks @Lilian84! It was a hoot trying to figure out who I would love to see. And since I know none of them will show up having a card or photo at the guest book table will be something for the guests to talk about! You should do it too! LOL!
