Bringing Tumblers On Plane

Recommended Posts

Hi,

I really wanted to bring tumblers for everyone, but how did you manage checking them on a plane?  I expect we will have more stuff, like centerpieces, etc, and wondering if they themselves would take up a whole suitcase. So far we expect to have between 40-50 people.

Did your guests use them by the pool, or would I be lugging them for no reason?

I haven't had the experience of bringing them on yet (3 months to go!) but I will be spreading them around my mom's, MIL and aunties luggage. We have 55 people confirmed and 55 bubba kegs, so in the checked baggage we will be putting 8-10 in one bag. We are flying with air transat, so we upgraded for the extra baggage allowance, which helps.

From my experience as a traveler, they will get used!!    I can't believe I traveled without them before LOL!!

On my wedding website I did a 'good to know for all inclusives' and this made my list :)

I would assume they will take up half to a full suitcase depending on the size.   As will my maracas, but if that's what you want to have, then so be it. Good luck :)

I have seen them used at an all inclusive wedding before.  Super cute and contemplating doing them myself, but being deterred at getting them there.

I'm planning on giving out as many as I can for them to pack in their luggage...of course there will still be a dozen I'll need to take in my bags but better than 30-40!
