Still Trying To Pick A Resort.. Help!

Their pricing structure would be similar to all karisma resorts for packages. (I'm Canadian too) in the way they structure them for kids.

On my package contract (sensatori) I have kids pricing 3-11 which is basically 1/2 price from adults... Then my teen pricing (12-17) is 75% of the adult price.

Have your TA ensure quotes for all three age categories when they can make sure you get great pricing for all of your guests! (We have about 20 kids coming! Haha so I know how important it is!)

My TA did quote me for all age groups. The 2 year olds they charge you only air fare, the 3-12's were like 70 percent less than the adults and the over 13 year were about 90 percent or so. I thought the kids would be cheaper under 12. Mind you - this is just a cost - the prices could differ once I confirm that contract and the deposits come in. I cannot seem them differing that much.

With the jade - the kids under 12 only paid for air fare.

My only advice is please do your research. Go on the wedding site, use google, look up youtube videos; any site where you can see an actual ceremony and reception (depending on what you want).

We were lucky to have chosen a decent resort (only picked it because they do one wedding a day and the cost was good). But after booking we kept researching other resorts and thank goodness we picked the one we did.

@@Lia33 that is what I hear!

Can anyone tell me what they wrote on their invitation to let their guests know when the deposits and such were due? I am not sure what to write without sounding.. rude I guess?

I made my RSVP date the same as my booking deadline. On the second page of my boarding pass invite I directed people to our website by saying:

To assist in providing you with information, we have created a website to help in your planning. Please use this website to RSVP to our big day by Sept 22, 2014.

Then on the website I was more detailed.

You can see it here

The booking info page gives direct info on deadlines etc. Everyone welcomed the information and no one found it rude. I have 61 people booked with 1 month to go before booking deadline.

@@kmk2016 oh I see. that is lovely! I just thought everyone would contact my travel agent for all of that information. I guess a website is smart idea. I was just going to field questions through my wedding email
