Bridesmaids All Ages And Sizes

Recommended Posts

Looking to see if anyone has experience with my issue.

I will most likely have 3 to 4 bridesmaids, my sister (38) (if she comes... which is another issue completely) my niece (18) sister in law (32) a friend (37) and as a junior bridesmaid I would like to have my step daughter (10).

They obviously have different styles and are quite different in shape, what will suit my 18 year old niece that has the body of a model, might not do so well with the other bridesmaids. For my sisters wedding she ordered materiel and we all had them made. Any style was fine as long as they were knee length, the result was nice, I just found it to be a hassle running around and making sure everything was ok.

I also want to save on cost, so have any of you done this, I'm looking for a website that will offer different models in the same color and material. I was thinking a turquoise or hot pink for the color of their dresses. Still undecided.

Thanks!

May I suggest the infinity or One dress or convertible dress. Google it for photos it's basically

3 pieces of fabric Sean together in such a way that it looks good on all body types! Seriously, no joking! . I'm doing this for my girls and everyone is happy. I even bought one for myself because it so versatile.

I have 3 bridesmaid of all varying sizes, so I let them pick the dress they liked the best.  Thankfully they all liked the same one.  I just got to pick the color and give my input :)

My daughter is the flower girl, and her dress is a light pink, whereas the bridesmaids are hot pink/fuschia.  They don't clash so I am ok with it.

But I do know some bridal stores - even David's Bridal - makes options for the younger girls to match the adult ones. You could look into that.

Also - you could get them all dresses in the same color but not the same style to help?  I would just stick to the same material and they would all look good.

I also considered that convertible dress but couldn't find the color I was going for!

I got the bridesmaids dresses from David's Bridal and I got my daughter's from Winner's.

My daughter is a tom boy and I had to bribe her to wear a dress to begin with, so I didn't want to spend a lot - it was $30.

I will take a picture and post it soon!
