Seamstress In Edmonton? Any Recommendations

Hi Girls,

I am waiting on my dress still to come in. I have until September to decide on whether I will get it altered at the place I bought the dress (Bridal House) or go elsewhere depending on price. I have no idea of any good seamstresses in Edmonton though. Any of you Edmonton brides have any recommendations. I have a lace dress.

I went to Maggie's Tailor on the south side. It is a very small place but I had great recommendations from a friend that has been using her since elementary. 

 

She is currently working on my wedding dress and she is very honest and offers creative solutions to any issues.

I had the straps adjusted to make them a bit longer, had the top of my bum adjusted so it closes better (dress is backless) & she is adding a strap to hold the train. 

 

Cost is $85 for all this.

I am going to need it hemmed that's for sure because I am too short for everything. And I am hoping to have it taken in as well...lol Hoping to have enough lost by end of sept to be able to take it in anyway.

 

Well that's def. a big help. I will for sure look her up when I have to get my dress altered.
