Hello everyone,

I was wondering if anyone had any great ideas for engagement photos in Toronto.

Since we're doing a destination beach wedding, we wanted to keep that theme. Our photographers had suggested Centre Island (since there's parks, beach, Centreville) so there's variety for photos. We also live near High Park which would be nice.

I don't really love the whole park thing, I wanted to do something more creative. My fiance wants to do them at the airport!

Anyone have any other suggestions? I don't mind paying permit fees if it's the right location.

What about something like Casa Loma? Or east on the Scarborough Bluffs near one of the beaches? There are also some pretty cool mansions that would have spectacular photos. Royal Botanical Gardens in Burlington? Waggoners beach out in Stoney Creek? Canada's Wonderland? One of the wineries? There are a few of the wineries that are right on the water. There is also Edgewater Manor in Stoney Creek. It has an outdoor garden that is right on the water's edge. A friend's daughter got married there 2 days ago. What about the CN Tower? That might cost you a bit but if you're really into an adventure, what about the Edge Walk around the outside.

Don't know if any of those help at all......  Good luck with whatever you decide.

The airport would make for some pretty cool pics actually, but I'm not sure how close you'll be able to get to stuff

I like the idea of the Scarborough Bluffs. Very cool area, and can be pretty dramatic for pics. I also like the Centre Island idea - lots of pretty scenery, and Porter is there so maybe you could get some airplane shots

Also I know it's very typical but the Distillery district is really gorgeous for pics.  If we had done our engagement pics in Toronto, we probably would have did them here
