Wedding Program, Wedding Week Itinerary Or Both?

Recommended Posts

I'm starting to think about other stationary I might need for the wedding. I thought of printing off a pamphlet per family with all of the wedding week events, times and locations to give guests as they arrive. That way they don't miss anything that they would have liked to attend, just in case they didn't check the website, or for whatever other reason. Would you do wedding programs as well?

We are doing the passports and having them act as welcome letter, itinerary, helpful hints (some common phrases, excursion info, resort map etc) and the middle pages will be the actual ceremony program. If we have laurielee send these out with the travel packets, then we will do a one page program for the ceremony, if we include them in our OOT bags, then we won't. Still undecided.

Hi, did you think about a website?

I got mine and everyone loves it because we updated it often enough, also went for the small magnet (save the dates), wedding passport (invitations) and perhaps will decide later to provide a  hand fan for the wedding program.

Yeah we have a website but chances are that people won't be able to access it over in Mexico. some of our friends are very organized and I know they will have everything written down but some are really not haha so I think giving everyone a sheet with the events will just make it easier for all parties involved :P. Same as I know some people will check the website regularly and others won't and they'll just forget about it. I just want to make sure everyone is on the same page

I chose to do programs for the ceremony on fans. But I think the other stuff is excessive especially if you are at a resort most people will know what's going on (if told by mouth).

Yeah I think that will be comfortable for your guests. It will be helpful for your guests especially from the out-of-town or country to get a better description about the wedding events, just in case they haven't visited your website.

I was going to make a welcome letter and put it in the welcome bags! I think the resort can put them in the rooms or hand them out to the guests as they arrive. I don't think we're planning anything other than a welcome dinner but just for general info of the times and locations of the ceremony and reception etc

Actually this all came from a tip that I got from a friend. They went to a destination wedding but due to poor communication they couldn't attend one of the events. He just said to make sure everyone is on the same page and don't rely on word of mouth for info to get around
