Sara1603
Hi everyone. This is my second wedding and I am having a hard time finding a dress. I find so many beautiful dresses but none that would suit me. I am not young or skinny. Any suggestions where to look? Thanks! acw271011
I agree with @kmk2016 Pinterest is a great place to look. The other thing is just google some of the photographers and look through their wedding shots. Sometimes looking at someone actually wearing a dress for their wedding is better than just looking at a model in a pic. You get a better idea of how long of a train you want, if any. What fabric you want because there are quite a few. I wore a very simple ivory chiffon strapless for my second wedding in Jamaica 3 years ago and we were just the two of us. It was just the thing for the venue that we had. Good luck!
TinkerSofi
I would say start off with the kinds of silhouettes that you know already fit you. What do your favorite non-wedding dresses look like? What do they accentuate that you like? Then go from there to find a silhouette that will accentuate the parts that you like and flatter the ones that you don't like so much. I personally think a lines work better for me, for any dress and that's the silhouette I got for my wedding dress. Also keep an open mind as it is hard to picture on oneself dresses that you've seen on models. Try different things on at first and you'll narrow it down pretty quickly Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
diannaloren
Another thing to consider...wedding dresses are coming in more colors than white these days. If you find that white is not your easy color to wear, you may want to look for a dress in a color you like. I have really pale skin, so I looked a bit washed out in white. Vera wang did a line of vibrantly colored pink and fuchsia bridal gowns for fall 2014...not that I am suggesting you get a bright pink dress - but it just shows that rules are meant to be broken! http://www.verawang.com/veraunveiled/2013/10/fall-2014-bridal-run-of-show/

fashionleader
You can choose the dress fits your figure, than take a consider of the fabric and details.
