Hi, we are new here in Toronto. Since this is Canadian Destination Wedding Group, I am sure that I will get enough suggestions from you. We are not at all familiar about the wedding venues here in Toronto. So it is little difficult to find out a good one.

My son's wedding has been fixed next year. Since we are new to Toronto, even my son doesn't have friends here so we find it hard to get some reference. Yeah I think it created a lot of confusion and we have had to do all our research on the Internet. We got to know about some good wedding banquet halls in Toronto.

Anyway, it would be so helpful if anyone of you could give some suggestions.

What type of venue are you interested in and what is your budget? Do you want the typical banquet hall style, or something different?

I have a bias toward locations set in the city, and have been to and enjoyed weddings at Berkley Church, Sunnybrook Estates, Graydon Hall Manor, Arcadian Court

Others: the Carlu, Steamwhistle, Fermenting Cellar in the Distillery, the Atlantis, Liberty Grand, One King West, etc.

If you send me your email, I can send you the spreadsheet i made of Toronto venues that are a bit different (art galleries, etc.). The details/information might be different as we were pricing out for the winter months, but it will give you an idea of venues to look at it. We were specifically looking for things in the city (not suburbs) and not the typical banquet hall style

I'm not from Toronto but my fiancé is and I looked at getting married in Niagara Falls overlooking the falls. Lots of hotels do it. It's beautiful but probably pricey. Ok it is pricey but I'm a frugal bride. Just an idea :)
