Hello!

New here. I have chosen Iberorstar Rose hall because I vacationed there last year. (Well the beach-the cheaper property)

And decided to have a destination wedding because my family is extremely large and it would be way out of my budget to have it in the states.

I have already paid my date and looking for Travel Agents.

Let me know if you have any questions.

@@jennifernoel1......Hello.... and congratulations!  I have a wonderful travel agent....she was born in Jamaica but has lived in states since she was a child.  She is very knowledgeable about the island.  Her and I just returned from Jamaica in June from my 2nd set of site visits.   Her name is Natalie Gaston, Dlanor Travel.....number is 215.402.7022.   Tell her Tish referred you.

Happy planning!!!!

@@jennifernoel1....I have just finished my boarding pass invites and I am sending them out by the end of the month.   Natalie has stated that my guests can book rooms now if they choose but if they want to do a complete package (air & room) the airfare won't be available until early November.   However, I put on my website that the deposits would be due beginning Nov. 15th....and it is $200 per person for complete package.

As I said she is very helpful and will work with each guest.

I never thought planning a destination wedding would be this intense but it is!!!   I have had quite a few days where a glass of wine was needed!  :)

I used destination weddings.com travel agent. Has worked well for me and sending save the dates with a website is always a decent idea so people can plan ahead.

Congrats and welcome! Jamaica is a beautiful place to get married! I was married in October and the weather was fantastic without the heavy humidity of the summer months.

There are a lot of Jamaica brides here, both past and present so i know there will lots of advice and tips to go around!

Good luck and happy planning!
