2016 Bride Looking For All Inclusive Resort Recommendations Please!

Hello All,

We are planning a 2016 wedding preferably in March or October but obviously haven't stapled down on a date. We really want an all inclusive resort for our guests, we are from the midwest and most of our friends have not traveled or even seen the ocean. I've been researching resorts and thus far have come to 3 that stand out most: Riu Palace Paradise Island, Breezes Bahamas, and Radisson Lucaya Beach. We are really looking for a great price, fun times, and relaxation. The most important thing for us is that we have a fun wedding experience. We don't want a spring break feel but we don't want something too pricey for our guests. If you have any recommendations or suggestions or even places not to go, I'd truly appreciate it.

Thank you in advance!

There are so many great locations... if you are looking at Bahamas as your destination, hop onto those forums and see what the brides there say! Another great idea is to reach out to a TA and ask her for some recommendations that meet your needs . Then come here and see what fellow planners think of those resorts- which will help you narrow it down!!! Lots of choices for sure!

GOOD LUCK and CONGRATULATIONS!

Congrats and welcome!

I will agree definitely with @@kmk2016 and say get help from a travel agent. The owners of this site - Wright Travel specialize in destination weddings. They have helped thousands of brides and the administrator of the site Tammy - she's a Dreams Cabo bride so the experience is there!! I would absolutely contact them and tell them what you want and I know they'll be able to help you out!! Here is the contact form:  http://www.wrighttravelagency.com/inquiry/index.html?t202id=9999&c1=bdw-sidebar

As well, check out the resort reviews here and see what past brides have said about their resort experience. You'll need to think about outside photographers too, along with other outside vendors if that's the route you want to go. Some resorts charge a very high fee for using outside vendors so keep that in mind.

Good luck and happy planning.

One important thing to consider since you haven't set the date yet is to avoid Spring Break time frame (usually March) since you don't want a spring break feel.   If you pick the wrong time you could get just what you are trying to avoid if you select a property that is popular with the spring break crowd.

Hi there! Congratulations on your upcoming wedding! We just had our wedding at the grand sunset princess resort in playa del carmen, Mexico. It was amazing and we loved the whole entire experience, as did our guests! I Have a huge review of it with a link to pictures under the forum titled "neha's grand sunset princess review" check it out if you'd like!
