Iberostar Punta Cana....

Hi Everyone!

 

I'm about to commit to the Iberostar Punta Cana for a March 2014 wedding.  Is anyone planning their wedding there currently or been married there recently?  Any suggestions or comments about the resort?

 

I'm looking for a very simple, but beachy wedding.  Any and all advice/comments will be greatly appreciated.

My wedding is not there but I did vacation at iberostar Punta Cana. It is GORGEOUS and the wildlife at the resort is amazing! My only complaints were that everything was musty - the AC didn't work good anywhere & The drinks were terrible - everything we saw made was either pre-mixed or mixed with thick sugary syrup - nothing fresh. Both minor details because everything else was perfect! I did not see any weddings in our week there - which I see as a positive (will be more of a special experience, rather than being one of 10 weddings on your day). Great resort choice!

Didn't get married in Punta Cana but we are currently honeymooning at the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Punta Cana. BEAUTIFUL!!

I don't think you can go wrong with Iberostar.  Stayed there years ago and have been to the one in Jamaica a few times.
