Newbie October 2014 Jamaica Bride- Iberostar Rose Hall Suites

Hello my name is Tatiana and I am new to the site. I am currently planning a wedding for October 2014 at the Iberostar Rose Hall Suites in Montego Bay, Jamaica.

 

I currently have 18 ppl booked for the wedding and have stressed about details such as: favors, decorations and reception type.

 

I am not a control freak but I would like our wedding day to be traditional.

 

Any suggestions on best destination favors, also destination decorations (to add a hint of customization)?

Congrats and welcome to the site! I am a past October Jamaica bride! We were married October 20, 2011 at Gran Bahia Principe Jamaica in Runaway Bay. Jamaica is a beautiful place to get married and October was wonderful weather for us!

 

You will find lots of tips and advice here and brides past and present are more than willing to share information. We were only 2 so I'm afraid I can't be much help for decorations or favours. I used Tai Flora for my flowers and I just allowed the resort to decorate the wedding gazebo for us. We opted for the gazebo instead of the beach.

 

I would definitely search the forums for the DIY items and see what past brides have done for favours. There are tons of ideas. You should also read the resort reviews and see what past brides have done at the resort where you're getting married, plus find the forums as well for current brides and you will be able to share ideas and information.
