Fun Ways To Ask Bridesmaids To Be In Your Wedding

Recommended Posts

@@kjb123 that is awesome!!! I was thinking about getting us all robes for the day of to wear while we're all getting ready.

Any ideas on asking the flower girl and ring bearer.

My flower girl is almost 3 and the boy is 5.

Maybe get the flower girl a flower necklace to wear that matches her outfit? Or special toys that they both want? Mine are my kids and too young to know so I can't offer more advice lol

For my first wedding (getting remarried this time around)... We made a "build a bear" stuffed bear and put the bride costume on her... Inside we put a recording that said (in our voices) Lauren... Will you be our flower girl?.... When she squeezed the bear the voices would go off. She loved it and ended up dragging it down the aisle with her which was adorable. Making one for your flower girl and ring bearers would be awesome at their ages!

(She was 4 at the time)

@@kmk2016 my lil Bella loves stuffed animals!! I think she would absolutely love that! Thank you.

Did you do the same for the ring bearer? They're brother and sister and i don't want to disapoint him.  I don't think he'd mind a bear as long as i have a new outfit for him like spider man or something. LOL.

@@marinah84 awwwww your kids are doing it! Thats soooo sweet.

I was going to leave the jewlery for later on as a thank you gift for her.  I might actually do a bracelet though cause she doesn't like to wear necklaces.

We did it for both... The boy had a little "groom" costume... So they matched what the two wore (it was a church wedding and ring bearer was in a little suit and flower girls was in a white dress so looked like the stuffies. I'm sure your nephew would love it... They really were a great way to ask them! I would do it again this time, except I'm consciously not doing ANYTHING I did at my last wedding this time around! Haha

I asked my bridesmaids with a ring box that I painted myself (I bought the box at AC Moore). The box was painted in the wedding colors with a fake diamond ring inside and on the top it read "I can not say I do without you". I asked every one in person down on one knee. (I am super cheesy and knew they would cry and laugh)
