Finally finished my "Save the Date's" and "Shit Just Got Real" invites for both electronic and print. Now to finish the WEDsite for an information hub.

I am worried that most guests won't "book" or put down their "deposit" to book from just receiving the STD's but I have not even started my Formal Invitations.

Is it wrong to send STD's electronically with the Booking Info? I have all of it in PDF from my Travel Agent....

Additionally, is a acceptable to have my WEDsite launched "Half completed" with priority information and update over the next few weeks with the less time sensitive information .... like Bridal Party, What to pack, Events, etc...?

Welcoming any advice as I would like to go live by Sunday if possible!

I think it's totally fine to send it out electronically! My TA actually supplied us with kind of a STD that links to the booking process, and says... Formal Invitations to follow. She said it's the easiest way to get people booking sooner rather than later so I say go for it!

I think the website will always be a work in progress for us brides. Focus on the important stuff and all your other stuff can load slowly after people are booked and getting excited.

I noticed you didn't use your new monogram on your std! I liked it! (Saw it on the other thread!) hahaa

I did electronic save the dates with a link to our wedding website at the bottom. Our website had all of the information to book their trip, and very little information about the wedding party, etc.  So glad we did electronic as it saved so much money.

Hi! What did you all use for the electronic save the date? Did you use a site like evite, celebrations.com, or postmark? I've used evite and celebrations for events, and people don't pay a ton of attention or don't regularly check their email. I was considering a postcard save the date with the wedding website - or both to cover all my bases.

Would love to hear what works for others!

I sent them out through e-mail.  I created a unique wedding e-mail address and sent out from there.  I used a template that looked just like a postcard and sent out like that with a link at the bottom to go to our wedding website.
