Hyatt Ziva Puerto Vallarta

Recommended Posts

Has anyone heard any information about what to expect for the Hyatt Ziva Puerto Vallarta? Really excited to find out about the a la cartes, if changes will be made to the pool and if there will be introductory rates for 2015.

Yes it's beautiful, I have stay there and the beach is gorgeous!. I didn't know they closed down though, I should check them out. When you booked them, did you got a wedding planner with your package or do you have to pay extra? Also, what about the outside vendors, do they charge you extra? Thank you @@peachykeen159

@@Kayla2015 I haven't booked yet with them, still waiting on pricing to come out. I'm surprised pricing has come out yet considering it's opening December 1st. I'm hoping since Hyatt is new to the all inclusive market in Mexico they'll have good promotions for 2015. We were originally going to get married in the Mayan but pricing was coming in a bit higher for guests than I expected so we switched to PV. Although now that we got a quote for Now Amber, that was coming in around $1800 too. I'm hoping Hyatt Ziva is closer to the $1500 mark. We are actually planning on doing the wedding at Las Caletas. I've heard great reviews for weddings there and I think it would make for a unique experience. In the event we can't have the wedding at Las Caletas though, we definitely have to make sure the resort we choose would also make a good option for weddings. Good to hear about the beach! I'm sure once they come out with their wedding info that would be a great spot! Or maybe there will even be a rooftop ceremony option which would allow for more privacy. I tried checking out Hyatt Ziva Los Cabos to see what they had for wedding information and looks like you need to e-mail them directly for more info :(

Thank you so much for all the info @@peachykeen159 . It's very kind of you to answer so much questions, commenting about the privacy though, that's the only thing that bother me of the hotels. I remmember seeing a wedding staying at Dreams, I remmember they celebrate it in the beach and almost everyone in the beach could see the ceremony. I'm not sure I'm a big fan of this. Caletas might be a great option because that!. The only thing I've read here as an "issue" for a wedding in Caletas is the extra charges while hiring outside vendors. Here is the thread: http://www.bestdestinationwedding.com/topic/62419-las-caletas-on-site-photographer/

Thanks again!

@@Kayla2015 Good to know about the additional costs for outside vendors. So you definitely have to make sure you like all the vendors at Las Caletas unless pricing works out to be cheaper bringing a vendor in. Yes, the privacy is a big factor. I know the resorts try to make it feel special but it's hard to when you're getting married while it's in the afternoon and people are still out running around in their bathing suits. So many little details to consider when planning a destination wedding!

@@Kayla2015 and anyone else interested in the Hyatt Ziva, their website is now up and running!

For some reason, when you click the link it says the page can't be found but if you click any of the tabs above, you should be good!
