@kcole123  I have an update too! lol I'm now down 8 lbs and I'm actually putting clothes on that I haven't worn in a while!! Unfortunately, I'm also down a bra size! WTH??  Why is that always where it goes off first??? I'm just going to keep at it, and see how much more will come off since I know September should add on probably another 10 off. I've even had a couple of small treats but been really careful and they haven't put weight back on!!

I used WW numerous times and was able to lose weight but never kept it off. I think for a couple reasons - I didn't exercise and I didn't change my habits I just eat bad within my points range. The program works though.

After trying everything known to man I joined MFP (my fitness pal) and the gym and I've lost around 125 lbs!!! I've been maintaining this since 2012 ish Slipped some this summer but back on track and down 5 of the 12 I set out to do before my dress fitting.

I gained 80 lbs with my twin pregnancy and struggled for so long.

If you ever do make it on mfp let me know and I can send you by username.

Healthy BMI but pregnancy shot stomach. Having this surgery was the best choice I ever made. Well other than to date my fiancé lol

@@calgarybride2015 - Congrats!! You look amazing and I'm so impressed you lost 125 lbs!!

I've tried My Fitness Pal a few times and it was really good for the month or so I used it, but I eventually get lazy/tired to track everything.  I've gained weight this summer because of an injury that stopped me from regularly working out... and I got lazy... and I love food so much.  And now it's less than 4 months to the wedding so I need to get motivated again and find new work outs that I can do

Hope you are ok! It's tough there is always an excuse to be lazy or an 'I'll start on this date' I'm not immune either. Last weekend I went gulp and was a bit embarrassed by my weight gain so I forced myself. I also love food and beer.

Do you use the gym or work out at home?

I go to goodlife and just do the classes. It's 30-1hour so not daunting. I like the Jillian michaels videos (30 day shred. Body shred. Killer buns and thighs). Play your own music to drown out her voice hahahah

Good luck. We will all do this. The looming wedding is such motivation.

oh wow. ladies I can so get on board with all of this!!  @calgarybride2015  there are no words to say enough how impressed I am! congrats doesn't even cut it! absolutely fantastic!!! you must be so completely proud of yourself!!!!

@@tygrrlily I hope the injury is healing and you're getting back on track!! that can be the worst part I think. I have arthritis in my back and exercise is supposed to be so good for arthritis but when you can hardly move some days, it's really tough to get motivated to move more when it just plain hurts!!!

Getting older really does a number on your weight too. I never ever had a problem with my weight until I hit 40. Then major health issues and a hysterectomy compounded that, and now more surgery coming up, it's a never ending struggle. Now being waaaaaaaaaay OVER 40 it's even harder. I'm now down 10 lbs, with comfortably another 20 I would like to get rid of. My worry is maintaining it after. I'm like you @@tygrrlily - I absolutely LOVE food!!! And of course what tastes so absolutely delicious is all the stuff that you shouldn't eat!!! I know my life is now reduced to rubble because I actually look forward to our salads at night!!! Grant me patience...... lol

@@calgarybride2015 - I work out at Goodlife too! I used to be so good and went 3-4x a week. Then I took a fall doing a class there (Body Attack - my fave), and my ankle hasn't been the same since.  It's hard for me to put pressure on it, and all my workouts used to involve lots of aerobics and jumping haha - I like doing fun stuff when I work out.  So I have to change the way I work out and that's making me lazy. My FI has tried to train me a couple of times, but I apparently suck at "activating my glutes" so I don't lift weights properly and it hurts my lower back.  My FI is a health nut - works out 5-7x a week and is so disciplined with his diet. I swear instead of motivating me, it makes it even harder living with someone like that haha

@@acw271011 - For me, it was my late 20s! My metabolism has slowed down a lot and I LOVE food - it's prob one of my biggest hobbies and passions haha.  I love that you look forward to your nightly salad :).

@acw271011

I am very bad for eating when i am bored.  Other than my twin pregnancy, I am the reason I was overweight, ugh!

I do agree it gets harder the older you get, but at the end of the day changing your habits makes you so  much healthier and lively too IMO.

I find maintaining to be much harder, for me anyways, it's like your goal is gone.  I was trying to come up with new ones!  I will maintain for awhile, then gain a few over my comfort zone - rinse and repeat.  It seems my body  likes one general weight range which can be annoying LOL  I think that's why it is SOOOO important to find something you can stick to.

@@tygrrlily

I agree, it's all about finding something fun that you love to do.  I do a lot of dance classes (don't know if your goodlife has Body Jam, but I LOVE it). I also love Body Pump and now Body Shred.  I also love Attack but it's at a poopy time for my work schedule.   That sounds painful - I am sure you have had someone look at it?  ouch!    My fiance just joined Goodlife as they have a new co-ed opening a minute from our place. I am excited for his encouragement.
