Wedding In July 2016- Pueblo Bonito Rose Or Los Cabos

Hello, We finally set the date and destination.

It's going to be in Cabo San Lucas in July 2016, that's all we've decided so far.  guessing our guests will be 40-50 and going to stay under 10k (the whole shebang).

I am seriously leaning towards the PB Rose or Los Cabos for several factors:

Location

Wedding package includes dinner in a private area

Room prices are manageable for my guests

Does anyone have any info to share on the resort chain for these properties??

Thanks!

Hello, congrats on setting your date. My fiancé and I were looking at these resorts when we started planning as well. They are beautiful. I'm not sure if all inclusive is important to you, but one thing to check with these resorts is the extra charges at the restaurants. We were seriously considering Pueblo Bonito Sunset Beach until we realized that one of the three restaurants on the property charges $25 per person for each meal. This may not be a big deal for some, but with so few restaurants on the property (compared to other AIs) we didn't like this.

Good luck with the rest of your planning.

I did see that, the advantage with these properties is that they are neighbors and allow guests to use the restaurants in either hotel. Dinner will be limited to two restaurants with reservation but I think it will be okay. Thanks for the tip? Where did you book and why?

Hi There!

I am getting married next week at Pueblo Bonito Sunset Beach - originally I booked at PB Los Cabos, but Hurricane Odile changed my plans! (I imagine it will be completely fixed by the end of this year)  The reason I chose Los Cabos (aka Blanco) was the price was in my budget, the all-inclusive room rates were reasonable for my guests, with that you get access to all amenities at both Rosé and Los Cabos (which are immediately next door to one another) Also, there is a free shuttle that transports guests to Sunset Beach if you would like to visit there. My guests & I are still STAYING at Los Cabos for the wedding, but because there was some hurricane-related construction happening at the reception site, we decided to move the ceremony/reception to Sunset Beach. I have stayed at PB Los Cabos twice now on site-visits - In total, if you stay at Rose or Los Cabos all-inclusive, you have access to 5 restaurants (Cilantros and Palomas at Blanco, and Mare Nostrum, Fellinis & Sunsets Sushi Bar at Rose) The beach is small, but nice, with a pretty view of Land's End, and it's within walking distance of the marina/downtown in case nightlife is important to you. The commentator above mentions a restaurant charging additional fees - La Frida at Sunset Beach does charge $25 a person, if you are all inclusive, this is because it is a fine dining restaurant. There are I believe 5-6 other restaurants on site at PBSB that are options that do not charge, if you decided to stay at Sunset Beach instead. Hope that helps!
