Hi everyone! My fiance and I got engaged in May of 2013 and would like to plan a June 2015 wedding in Cabo! After looking at many resorts and seeing which resorts are most affordable for our guests we think we want to go with Riu Santa Fe. We know we will at least have 50 guests in attendance with the potential of another 25+ guests. I've been doing a lot of research but still have areas where I do not completely understand the set up or extra cost for certain things. If anyone has any information that would be wonderful as we want start planning ASAP!! Thank you all!!

Congrats and welcome to BDW! Riu resorts are definitely beautiful resorts and you'll find a lot of brides here that have picked a Riu resort. If you don't already have a travel agent I would highly recommend getting one. They always have inside details on what's available and can help with group rates, etc.

 

Also check out the resort reviews here and the Riu forums. There have been a lot of past and present Riu brides so I know the forums will provide a lot of useful information.

I am so getting married at the Riu in cabo. Instead of doing it at the Santa Fe, I am doing it at the RIU palace. I have read better reviews with thrh Palace. I would definately recommend getting a travel agent to help book your guests. Mine has been awesome!
