Kleinfield @ The Bay Experience - And My Dress!

Recommended Posts

@@tygrrlily I'm definitely going to Becker's, I've been to David's Bridal in Scarborough but the person helping me was terrible and I didn't like the quality of their dresses : (

I'm hoping to go to Jealous Bridesmaids and a little place near my house called Blu Ivory (on St. Clair) - I always drive by and it looks like a nice little store! I also want to check out the The Bride's Project : )

I really don't want to spend a ton on a dress... I'm sure I can afford to spend more, but at the end of the day I'm only going to be wearing it for less than 10 hours!

@@shelikespink - Yes, don't spend a ton! I don't think it's worth it either. Mine is a sample - I got it at a fraction of the regular price! I don't think it's worth it either for one day. Not sure if you're open to that, but it's worth the consideration! Also if you check out http://www.preownedweddingdresses.com/ you can find used, samples, even NWT!

Also check out the replica thread. A lot of the ladies here are getting replicas created!

I've heard of Jealous Bridesmaids! I was actually going to make an appointment, but I ended up finding my dress. I'm curious about the Bride's Project - pls post after you go! I was curious about how the quality of the dresses would be

Have you Canadian girls ran into any stores that won't let you know the style and designer of the dresses you liked after trying them on (holding the info ransom so you have to buy from them)

Wow really?? What purpose does that serve? That's the kind of place I would complain to the better business bureau!

My Canadian assistant mentioned to me that when her sister was getting married they wouldn`t let her take pictures in the store. I thought that was a bit wierd.

Yes this is quite common (No pictures until you purchase)... but Im hoping the other more secretive behavior is only happening in some stores in the States and isnt the case in Canadian stores! I want to be able to try on a dress or two with my mom as she lives in Vancouver.. but I have no intentions of buying it there!
