Bridal Dress Shopping?!

I might be over thinking it but I'm not sure what to wear (underwear) to my first appointment that is next weekend

 

any advice ladies

Wear a nice bra and panty set. You will have to dress and undress in the dressing room stall but what if you need assistance putting a dress on over your head or zipping one up...

Wear undergarments that are presentable to others.

I agree with 1beachbride, and as well, ask the store for a strapless bra to try with the dresses, similar to what Victoria Secret stores do. or if you have one yourself take it with you. you'll get a better idea of how your dress fits if you wear an undergarment similar to what you think you'll wear for your wedding. keep in mind too that with some dress styles they can build bra cups right into the dress for you so you don't have to wear a bra. sometimes in a warm climate that makes you more comfortable without bra elastic across your back in the humidity.

5 in 1 bra may be helpful for trying on different necklines... Just make sure you pick a light colour

I read on a bridal store web site you sould also bring spanx haha

I didn't say spanx because if you try it on with spanx, you'll have to wear it on wedding day to suck you in for that same perfect fit. Spanx + DW heat = YUCK!

Maybe I'll lose enough tummy fat by my wedding that I won't need spanx! A girl can dream

Both places that I went provided me with a strapless bra/bustier to try on the dresses.  I wore a neutral color panty.

Try to wear what you think you be wearing on your wedding day. And I think most places will have strapless bras and shoes you can try with the dresses.

Wow, I didn't even think about that! Thanks for the advice. I'm going shopping this weekend...I'm excited and nervous...
